The Chest and Heart Association of Bangladesh is committed to providing multidisciplinary care to TB patients. On 7th February 2026, a scientific seminar was held at BIRDEM General Hospital, Dhaka, where challenges of DM-TB comorbidity and the scope of surgery in pulmonary TB were highlighted among distinguished participants.

The Chest and Heart Association of Bangladesh celebrated "World Bronchiectasis Day 2025" at the NIDCH Auditorium. Two presentations highlighted the medical and surgical management of bronchiectasis, followed by valuable comments from a panel of experts.

World COPD Day was celebrated on 26 November 2025 at NIDCH with great enthusiasm, highlighting the year’s theme, “Short of breath, think COPD.” The program began with an awareness rally, engaging healthcare workers and the community to promote early detection and prevention. This was followed by a scientific seminar on Pulmonary Rehabilitation in COPD. A dedicated discussion session emphasized lifestyle modification, smoking cessation, and the importance of early intervention. The event successfully raised public awareness and strengthened the commitment toward improving the quality of life for people living with COPD.

On 29th March 2026, CHAB proudly observed World TB Day, with the inspiring theme " Yes! We can end TB, Led by Countries Powerd by People".  Honorable state minister of health and Family Welfare was the chief guest of the session.This occasion highlighted our shared commitment to overcoming challenges in TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. There was one scientific sessions based on "Current TB Situation in Bangladesh".
